I work primarily with photography and artists' books. I attempt to capture performance, place, and the fragile beauty of fleeting moments.
I work with photography to explore portraiture that draws from a fictional narrative, and to document performance. I work with the book form
to add time, rhythm, sequence, and weight. I love the physicality and warmth of a book. It is an archival structure that has stood the test of
time, and I'm interested in capturing ephemeral content and ideas in this structure.
Sincerity and intimacy are both very important to me in my work. |
